Long Park features several hundred acres of open space including athletic fields (3 soccer 2 baseball), a learning center, playground, BBQ stands and picnic tables bith covered and uncovered, open fields for flying kites and remote controlled drones, as well as other activities. The groundskeepers keep the areas clean and well maintained. Regular PW County police patrols ensure safety and security.
